Dr Branley
MBBS, B.Sc (Med), FRACO, FRACS
Dr. Branley
specializes in vitrio-retinal and inflammatory disorders of the eye. He
obtained a Bachelor of Medical Science in 1982 and followed this by a
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1987. He was awarded the
Fellowship of The Royal College of Ophthalmologists in 1994 and then pursued
his sub-speciality training between 1996 and 1998 at the prestigious Moorefields
Eye Hospital in London.
He then spent a year as consulting ophthalmologist in the United Kingdom
before returning to Australia where he was appointed consultant ophthalmologist
in vitrio-retinal surgery at Royal North Shore Hospital and Concord Hospital.
He is director of ophthalmic training at Royal North Shore Hospital and
has published many works in peer reviewed journals in the areas of both
inflammatory disorders of the eye and vitriol-retinal disorders.
