 Optometrist Anthony Chapman-Davies is one of Australia's leading Optometrists. He is recognized nationally as being at the forefront in education for Optometrists and his clinical skills lead the profession. Anthony graduated in Optometry with Class I Honours in 1979. Further study resulted in him being awarded the degree of Master of Optometry in 1981.He then undertook more education in Optometry in the United States at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Since 1981 he has been closely involved with both undergraduate and postgraduate education in the Department of Optometry at the University if New South Wales holding positions of supervisor, tutor and lecturer. His students regard his clinical skills as without peer. He has lectured widely both in Australia and internationally over the last 20 years. In 1998 he was honoured with the prestigious Josef Lederer Award for Excellence in Clinical Optometry by the Optometrists Association of Australia. Anthony sits on the Optometry advisory panel to International Public Companies specializing in Vision Correction and his opinion is widely sought. He sits on the Editorial Board of Clinical and Experimental Optometry and is a member of the followung organizations.
